Alright, are you interested in being cast in Total Drama Roleplay? Awesome! Here's how you get there!
Step #1. Design your character, and create an account for them. One character per account, but you can have as many accounts as you like. Figure out exactly what they're like. Keep in mind that they CAN NOT have any relation to an existing Total Drama character.
Step #2. Make an post over in the Audition Forums. Just fill out the form, and post away!
Step #3. Me, or one of the interns, will view your Audition post, and upgrade you from "Fan", to "Wannabe". This grants you access to the roleplay area of the site. While we're waiting to get enough auditions for a new season, feel free to play around in there.
When we're picking the new contestants, we favor people who are active in the Non-Contestant RP. If you're active and interesting in there, we assume you'll be active and interesting in the actual competition!
Sometimes, for whatever reason, we'll find something wrong with an audition tape. Maybe you made your character an alien, or you're claiming they're Noah's little sister, or something equally ridiculous. If that happens, we'll post telling you what you need to fix. Make the corrections, and you're good to go!
Step #4. If you're chosen, congratulations! You will be changed from "Wannabe" to "Contestant". When this happens, you will gain the ability to post in Camp Wawanakwa, but you can no longer see RP areas outside of that board. Part of the rules is that Contestants are allowed no contact with characters on the outside.
If you're not chosen, don't worry. When we're picking characters for a season, we keep an eye on how they'll mix in the game for the most interesting competition. Even if you're not what we need right now, you might be PERFECT for the next season. So sit tight, RP in the Non-Contestant areas, and watch the game.
Step #5.
After each challenge, someone gets voted off by their teammates. If it happens to you, you'll become an ex-contestant, and can no longer post in the competition. Unless, of course, we bring you back. Which we've been known to do. We also love casting previous competitors in new seasons.
