Archetype: The Geeky Romantic
Gender: Female
Description: Jade has long, brown hair, big blue eyes, and is quite pale. She is 5’5”. She always wears the cap that link wears in the Legend of Zelda games, a green off-shoulder sweater and black skinny jeans. She also wears black combat boots everywhe she goes.
Personality: Jade is shy, but once she gets to know someone she becomes extremely outgoing towards them. She is also very competitive, which can overshadow her shyness at times. She is a vegetarian and a closet lesbian, getting easily distracted by girls she finds cute. She gets very invested in relationships but she hasn't been in many because very few people know she is gay and she would like to keep it that way. She is a follower, not a leader and hates to take charge. She loves most living creatures, except for beavers which she thinks are creepy and weird. She loves all of the legend of zelda video games and playing them over and over again is her second favorite pastime, right after doing math. She also loves the rain and would rather be outside during a thunder storm than if it was sunny. She also has a fascination with fire and loves to be around it.
Skills: Jade is a human calculator. She can do most math in her head easily. She’s a very determined person. She has a stomach of steel, can eat as much almost anything as possible as long as it isn’t meat, and has never puked. She is modest and hates when any of her achievements are brought up. She also has an amazing memory.
Flaws: Jade apologizes way too much and is extremely scared of the dark and heights. She is not athletic at all. While she is competitive and will do anything she can to win, she would do anything for the person she liked even if that meant leaving the competition. If she is ever in a relationship she gets extremely paranoid that her partner is going to leave her for someone better or betray her. She can get distracted from challenges by girls she finds attractive. She doesn’t trust anyone completely and will always feel like she’s being lied to. She cannot stand to be beaten in math more than anything and when she is, even by a machine, it makes her extremely angry.
The Audition Tape: The camera starts and Jade is sitting on her bed with her legs crossed. She isn’t wearing shoes. On her wall are Legend of Zelda posters, next to her on the bed is a golden legend of zelda edition nintendo 3DS, and assorted vegetables can be seen on a bowl sitting on her end table. Her bed has red sheets and her walls are completely while except for 2 spots of black. She is recording on a laptop. She runs her fingers through her hair, looks down at her side and looks back up at the camera.
She opens her mouth and in a soft voice she says “Hi total drama producers.. this is my audition video for the next season of total drama. Ive been a big fan of the series ever since it started and I just thought maybe I could try my luck at getting on the show. Sorry if I seem a bit nervous.” She looks to the side again. Her cap begins to fall but she catches it and places it back on. She sighs and continues to speak “I might not look like much, but I can sure pack a punch when I really want to.” She looks back up at the camera. “One of my friends told me that I should show off one of my skills and that it would give me a better chance of being chosen, so here it is I guess. So um.. I really like math and I think I’m pretty okay at it so I have a number here and I will try to show you what I’ve got.” She picks up a piece of paper and shows it to the camera. “See, the only writing on here is the one number” The piece of paper says ‘439’ written in big letters. “I promise i don’t have any of these things written down anywhere or remembered.” She closes her eyes. As she starts to speak about math her voice speeds up "So.. 439 squared is 192,721. 439 backwards is 934. 192,721 divided by 934 is approximately 206.3394. That squared is approximately 42,575.9480 and divided by the original number we have 96.9839 approximately.” her voice slows down again and she opens her eyes "I hope thats okay. And if you do pick me then thank you so so much and if you don’t then I am sorry for wasting your time.” She leans forward, hits a key on the keyboard and the video ends.
