Okay, so, I mentioned earlier the idea of doing an unofficial season of RP somewhere on the site. Maybe not 30 competitors, major threads, etc. We could just use the Free RP section. Anyway, a few people said the idea was a good one. I was waiting on Chris or one of the mods to give us the okay, but they might not be on until the new season of TD airs and ends (as they said that's when the new season of RP would begin). What's the point of a mini-season then?
So, for those of you who like this idea and think we should ago and kick it off without official permission (Since it's an unofficial mini-season, I don't think Chris would be mad. It would keep us all active members until the next official season!), please comment on this thread!
Some brief mention came up about who would run it. Honestly, if you guys don't mind Timothy competing while I run it, I'd be happy to RP Chris and set up challenges and such. I'm also totally open to any and all suggestions about challenges and twists, so if I run it, be sure to let me know of any ideas you guys get! Like I talked about in another thread, I run my own RP site and we have a Tournament there, which is basically a fancy name for a TD/Survivor RP. So if you guys want me to do the mini-season, I have a fair amount of experience running these kinds of RPs as well.
Also, we can try to private message some of the other contestants and see if we can get them back on. Does anyone know of a way to email them? Or does sending a private message update their email? I don't think it does, but if we can send one and it notify them of the message through the email, that would be great.
That's it, basically. The season is entirely unofficial. Since Chris and the mods are gone for now, not only can we NOT do anything official, but it would also be kind of wrong to. As far as I know, none of us plain members can edit the site either, so whoever does end up in charge will have to update people in the threads, not the sidebar and such.
So, opinions? What do you guys think? I'm looking for at least 3-5 of you guys to say this is a good idea and we can proceed from there with a sign-up area! Tell me what you think about having this season and about me running it (if not me, but you like the idea, please suggest who you think is best suited to run it and we can discuss it with everyone).
