Character Name: Chase Rockwell
Archetype: The Sick Troublemaker
Gender: Male
Description: Chase is a 15-year old kid who's constantly getting minor illnesses. Tissues can always be found in the pockets of his brown pants, up the sleeves of his blue sweater, or tucked into his black boots, as crazy as that sounds. His dark brown hair is pulled back into a short ponytail, with his bangs tucked out of his green eyes by a black barrette. He's about average in height, and he is skinnier than someone his height should be.
Personality: Ask any one of the people that Chase knows, and they'll all tell you the same thing: Chase was a kid who hasn't had a chance to mature in the same way that others have. Instead of having an argumentative teen, Chase is calm, polite and friendly to others.
Of course, that's what Chase wants you to think. In reality, he commonly sneaks out of his house, does something like making a messy painting of the principal on the school walls, and then leaves, ending up not getting a lick of the blame. His calm attitude allows him to execute his plans without any huge problems, and the fact that he executes all his plans at night doesn't hurt either. He never calls an enemy a bad word, but could tell a lie or two about them so that people will go against him or her.
One of the things that irritates him a lot is when people treat him differently for being constantly sick. It's the way to instantly make him your enemy. He prefers it if people treat him just like any other person on the street, and will consider those people his friends. In fact, his main reason for auditioning is to be seen as a regular person by his parents, in addition to having one adventurous experience in his life.
Skills: Chase is an pretty good liar, and a decent painter. He is usually always calm and is a more strategic player. He will be more strategic in the game before the teams are dissolved.
Flaws: In addition to constantly getting sick, Chase is not a physically strong player. Most of his intelligence is used to figure out what kind of drama to cause, so it could be easy to blindside or back-stab him. He won't be as strategic in the game after the teams dissolve. His greatest fear is that he'll be bedridden for the rest of his life, so being tied down to or being forced onto a flat surface makes him start to panic.
The Audition Tape: The camera is turned on to a teen under a blanket, smiling and holding a flashlight. He waved at the camera with his other hand. "Hello, I'm Chase." He started with a whisper, "You may wonder why I'm under a blanket right now and not showing you my room, right?"
He looked a bit embarrassed as he continued, "Truth is, I'm doing this at night so my parent's don't know. If they knew I was going to try to get into Total Drama, I'd never be allowed to go. I'm planning on sneaking out if I do get in. It'll only be the first time I -" His words came to a halt as he started to cough, and he frowned once he's finished. "Sorry about that. I've got a bit of a cold right now. Nothing unusual." He gave another wave, this one a bit more enthusiastic, to the camera. "Thanks for considering me, and I hope that I'll be able to cause some drama on the show. After all, that is what the show is called, right?" Shortly after this, the camera cut off.
