Character Name: Jace Indawhol
Archetype: The Try-Hard Artist
Gender: Male
Description: Jace stands at an inch under six feet tall, with a very slim build with very little fat and even less muscle. His face is slightly circular, with a small curved nose, round blue eyes, slim pink lips, and flat ears. His head is topped with a thick set of chestnut hair, the long bangs able to reach to his eyes, but are often combed to the left. On the left side of his head, his hair sticks out in slight curls, comparable to ocean waves if one were to tilt his head entirely sideways. Sitting upon his nose is a pair of prescription glasses with thin black rims. His body is covered by a white t-shirt with a design of a massive black ink splatter originating from the right shoulder, the shirt of which is covered by a thin jacket with a dull silver zipper, the jacket of which is gray with a large black musical note in the center of the back. Hanging out of his shirt is a pair of earbuds, although more often than not one is in his ear. His lower body is covered by jeans and vans - the jeans of which being of a dark blue and his vans being black with white trimming.
Personality: Jace loves anything he considers to be beautiful to the point nearly of obsession, this being mixed with the amount of passion he has often causing him to pursue things relentlessly if he feels strongly for them. He considers himself an artist, his favorite form of art being things made by hand, which is why he rarely isn't accompanied by a notebook and pencil. His ego is a bit higher than average, but not to the point where it's ridiculous. His drive of passion often results in him not being able to footer his mind and his mouth, but when calm, he is shown it have high charisma, logical reasoning, and deductive thinking skills. He also is what he sometimes refers to as a gentleman, where he values women higher than men regardless of their appearance or vies of him, although if called in this, he often will explain that he does not act in a sexist manner, even to an extreme extent if needed.
Skills: Jace's primary skills are focused in areas related to art and the planning of such. Years of drawing, painting, and sketches requiring him to think about his work resulted in him being a very strong strategist. He is also very skilled in all forms of art, including painting, carving, and an ability to play many string instruments, although he is most skilled at the violin - but only plays an instrument as a sound-based backdrop for what he often considers as 'the star of the show', which is often anything he paints or writes. Also, due to his slim build, he is rather light and quick on his feet when he needs to be.
Flaws: Jace's biggest flaw is one he prefers to keep secret: hemophobia. This is the fear of blood, which has made him faint in several occasions, including one time when he thought about it too much. Other less prominent flaws include him being a perfectionist, causing him to obsess over little details and refusing to start new projects until he has finished the last - often resulting him in destroying what he has made if he does not feel satisfied with it. He also has a problem of being very difficult to calm down when angry - because often enough he can hold back his anger, but when it shows, it often shows to an extreme extent. Also, while his slim build makes him fast, his endurance and strength is very low.
The Audition Tape: The camera turns on, a few bits of cursing being heard before the camera is tilted left and right multiple times, only stopping when it is perfectly straight. The male that had been moving the camera steps in front of it, standing in the middle of what appears to be his bedroom. The walls are splattered and dotted with works of art if many origins, and notebooks filled with paper dotted the ground of the otherwise clean room. He clears his throat, then speaks. "Hello. My name is Jace Indawhol, and I am here to try out for Total Drama. I decided that there would be no better way to show you who I am than to read you one of the poems I worked so hard on."
He paused for a few moments with a smile in his lips, only to suddenly begin a frantic search for a paper scatters in the others on the floor. Upon finding it, a nervous laugh leaves him as he stands and places the paper on what seems to be a stand just off camera. "Eheh, just a moment." He said as he reached to the other side of the camera, pulling a violin and bow into view.
Jace steps back and clears his throat, slowly beginning to draw his bow along the violin to release a harmonic note while his gaze remains in the paper. "Every song tha-" He freezes suddenly, only to abruptly drop his violin and reach for the paper, stepping back as he spoke. "S-Sorry, this Isn't the right one." He says as he scans the floor, toying and twisting the paper as he does - only to flinch.
His gaze moves to his finger as he drops the paper, followed by his eyes widening and his face draining of color. "P-Papercut." He says in a meek voice, only to grip his wrist and begin frantically running around the bedroom. "PAPERCUTPAPERCUTPAPERCUTPAPERCUTOHGODI'MBLEEDINGI'MGONNAD-" His agonized screams we cut off abruptly as he collides with the camera, sending both him toppling to the floor, the last image seem being of his face filled with terror before the tape ends.

P.S. I ADORE feedback more than a schoolgirl loves chocolate. If you have comments, criticism, or other c words, I would LOVE to hear them. Anything to improve my character for a better experience for others. But PLEASE, not on this thread! Chris doesn't want things cluttered with comments, so please message me in private message if you have something to say!
Have a nice day!)
