OOC: Alright players, time to start the first challenge. Rules are as before. Go a week without posting anything, and you'll be removed from the game.
However, due to us losing our post-limiter in the move, we now have to control flooding manually in the form of a new rule:
After you post in a thread, you must wait either until 5 other people have posted, or 5 hours have passed. Whichever comes first. Please note that this says other people, not other posts. So if one of the dumb-ass interns posts five times in a row after your last post, that doesn't make it okay to post again.
Anyone who breaks this rule will receive a physical warning for flooding, and may have the offending posts deleted as well. When your warning level gets to 100%, you will be eliminated from this season via your character getting injured in a spectacularly embarrassing way.
Also, just a friendly reminder that only staffers (Me, Chef, the interns) may make posts controlling the wildlife or big events. So if you want Stymphalian Geese or a mob of angry raccoons to attack, or you want a tree to collapse or a sudden torrential downpour to start, just PM a staffer and let us know.
Chris shuffled through his notecards as the interns herded the campers over to him for their first challenge. Seeming satisfied with his quick review, he glanced over at Camera #1. "We good to go?"
The camera gave the thumbs up, and started the countdown...
"Hello campers, and welcome to the first challenge! The network has been on my butt to make this show count as 'Educational', so today we're learning about search-and-rescue missions! Each team must travel across the island, to the Cave Of Treacherous Terror. Inside, each of you must find your team's mascot and get them back safely to camp."
His grin turned a bit wicked, "Oh, and be careful of the cave's guardian. We took away her cellphone so she's a bit, uh, testy."
