Okay, the forum rules are pretty simple, so here we go. Keep in mind that I can add to or change these approximately whenever I feel like it, so it's a good idea to check back frequently.
#1. No porn. Seriously. That's what Fanfiction.net is for.
#2. Posts should be written in third person, either past or present tense.

#3. Everybody loses challenges sometimes. That's how the game works. Nobody but me is perfect, so don't expect to get away with winning challenge after challenge. If your character is making it through everything without a scratch or breaking a sweat, that means it's time for me and Chef to make things a little more "interesting".
#4. No powerplaying. Seriously. You control you and nobody else. You can take a swing at another character, but it is completely up to them whether it hits or not.
Keep in mind, though, that this board thrives on the "Rule Of Funny", and be a good sport. If you play a mohawked delinquent, and some nerd takes a swing at you, it's not necessarily a bad idea to allow this to happen:
I tend to be slightly kinder to players that make me laugh. Not a bad thing to remember.
#5. Your character cannot be related to or know a canon character in any way, shape, or form. You can't be their cousin, their best friend, their love interest, any of it.
Your character also MUST be an original character. Don't try to lift something from another show and present it as your own. If you are caught having stolen a character, the account will be deleted--even if I only find out six months later and you're in the final three. Bam. Deleted.
#6. Don't advertise outside of the General board.
#7. Okay, this should go without saying, but apparently I need to spell it out: Don't be a jackass.
If your character is a jerk, then they can be a jerk IN THE GAME. If you are being a jerk in the general board, the auditions board, or any other non-roleplay part of the site, you will be removed.
#8. If you're posting images, they cannot be any larger than 500 pixels in width or they will be deleted by either me or the interns. Repeat offenders will be punished.

The devilishly handsome Chris McClean stepped into the spotlight, enjoying the bright glow and the applause. He knew he was the best host ever.

I step onto the stage of my super-lame 'Aftermath' show, even though I'm a total amateur just leeching off the fame of a better show.
