Character Name: April Jensen
Archetype: The Quiet Girl
Gender: Female
Description: April has long brown hair that waves in the wind with ease. Her luscious brown eyes go well with her hair, and she often will keep her hair down, not really messing with it due to the fact that she never feels the need to, other then making sure it isn't a total mess.
April is the average sized girl, with a rather flat body for a girl her age. She stands at 5'8". Her smooth skin can be felt all along her bodynot that she'll let anyone feel her skin, and her feminine body parts are simply average.
Personality: See that guy throwing the football with his friends outside? That's not April. See that girl tweeting about how Jimmy just broke up with Amanda? That's not April. See the rather large boy stuffing mounds of food into his mouth? That's not April either. April is the one in the back, quietly reading a book, or drawing, or finding some other excuse to not be socializing with anyone.
Ever since she was a child, April has felt she needed to steer clear of as many people as she could, often being afraid of interacting with others. She's practically afraid of people. The only one she is truly able to interact with is her mother and brother, but even then she tends to only interact with them when they go out of their way to visit her in her abyss of a room.
"H- h- hi..." April would always say when a random stranger walks up to her. "W- What do you n- need?" She would continue going on and on, talking as little as possible until the conversation would just... end.
April has yet to find anyone who can bring her out of her shell, and she isn't looking for anyone, either.
Skills: April is able to think outside of the box. She has above average intelligence, and she has always been able to get her way out of a tricky situation.
Flaws: She is unable to socialize, and has never really been athletic. She tends to steer clear of everyone else, and has done this her whole life. This has left her with zero social skills.
The Audition Tape: The camera is fixed on a single person in the room. The lights flicker, most likely because the hosts of the show have not the slightest notion in the world that yet another piece of theircheap expensive equipment has been broken. The flickering light hangs loosely over a girl in a chair, staring at the camera. She is visibly trembling, but it is unknown as to what is frightening her so much.
"Hi," she speaks up, her voice nearly cracking under the pressure. "My name is April. You might be wondering why-" the girl stops, swatting away at a few flies that have hovered near here. "You might be wondering why I am here today. Well, you see, my mother, brother, and I are very poor, and we are in need of money. I want to win this show so that we have enough money to make ends meet in our household. I just-" she stops, swatting away at more flies. "I just don't think we have enough. My mother also thinks this would be a great opportunity for me to develop social skills."
Two utterly quiet words can be heard originating from her mouth. "I don't."
There is a long, awkward silence before the girl speaks up again. "Um..." her voice is feint, almost in a whisper. "That's all I have to say..."
