Timothy glanced at Cheryl. Insulting the entire team and everyone else along with it. Nice way to get yourself eliminated. He glanced at Devi. "Do you not remember that she's still partially human? As in, she's still Dakota? She still cares for Sam and would gladly destroy anyone who put him in harms way. And I didn't even lie when I said he was in the back of the cave tied up. I just need to get her to hear me over everyone else so she knows to go there. Logically speaking, she'll react the same way she did in the Season 4 challenge and toss anyone who gets in her way aside to reach him, meaning the entrance would be clear."
He then glanced at the Toxic Butterflies and Bliss, who called him rude. "There's a difference between rude and strategic. We want to win and you want to win, right? What I did wasn't insulting you, nor was it personal, nor was it against the rules. It was just a half-lie to assist my team win, something most competitors would try. And it was hardly even a half-lie, considering you would be removing him from the cave. And there's no guarantee Chris would let Dakota out to see him once he was gone, so you might very well be taking him from her. Be the definition of the word 'rude' I wasn't being 'rude', especially since the attack wasn't a personal one, it was strategic."
Timothy shrugged and said, "If you want, we can assist each other. Dakota will pry Sam off the wall and move out of the way, which gives both of our teams a way out with our mascots. You just have to tell her Sam is back here and convince her I lied about you trying to hurt him, which I did. If you do that, both of our teams have a clear shot out." He smirked and added, "And if you don't do this, you'll have to try and get past Dakota while carrying Sam out of the cave, if she lets you. Logically, it's your best move and ours to work together and get Dakota to leave the front to pry Sam off the wall."
He decided to completely tune out Cheryl's ranting and allow her to insult anyone she wanted. If they lost, at least there was a better target than himself. Part of him wished that Dakota would maul her, just to shut her up. She was being truly rude and just insulted literally every person in the cave. Meanwhile, Timothy was trying to be strategic. He never insulted the Toxic Butterflies, just lied about them to keep them distracted with Dakota, yet he was taking more heat than Cheryl for his actions.

"So we aren't even worth being killed? Speaking to all three teams. None of us are worth being killed? I hope the others realized I was doing the logical thing to win, meanwhile that arrogant genius-wanna-be just told them all they were worthless for no real reason." He thought about what she had said and added, "And really, Chris doesn't exactly deserve to die. Well, he does for polluting a beautiful island with toxic waste, but why does everyone get mad at him for his challenges? He's just trying to make an interesting show and make things harder on us so our victories are worth-while. I seriously respect Chris and Chef for tolerating all the rude comments people have made about them over the seasons and still managing to make an interesting show."
He crossed his fingers. "And we can always hope my team will realize what Cheryl just said in comparison to my actions and consider that when they think about who really deserves elimination if we lose."
