Character Name: Selene
Archetype: The Pica
Gender: Female
Description: Selene is small for her age, and wears her red hair in spiky pigtails. Her clothes are very patchy and rather tattered around the edges. Her shirt has floppy sleeves that she likes to chew on.
Personality: Energetic and inquisitive, Selene likes to get right in the thick of things. She also likes to chew on everything, and cannot seem to help but put everything in her mouth.
Raised by wolves until she was six, she has a very strong stomach, as well as some rather unusual ideas about proper etiquette. She also has a tendency to bite when over-stimulated.
Skills: Energetic and athletic, Selene has no problem with meeting physical challenges head-on. She also can--and does--eat just about anything. Even things she really shouldn't be eating, including money, socks, pens, the upholstry, etc. If she can fit it in her mouth, it will probably disappear. Very, very little grosses her out.
Flaws: Due to her unique upbringing, Selene is painfully gullible, and has absolutely no grasp of sarcasm. She's also rather impulsive, and frequently acts before she thinks.
Not to mention her rather bad habit of eating anything she's holding, whether it is food or not...
The Audition Tape: Selene hit the record button on the camera, and dashed into view, standing in front of her wrecked bedroom. A huge mass of stuffed animals--most of them missing limbs with the stuffing hanging out--is piled on her bed, along with squeaky toys and tennis balls and other assorted dog toys.
"Hi!" she said in a chipper tone, bouncing slightly in place, "Um, my name is Selene, and.. and I think I would be an interesting competitor because I was raised by wolves, so.. I have really good survival skills, and I'm very loyal."
In the window behind her, a squirrel climbed into view.
"I'm also really smart and athletic, so I would be really tough to beat, and--" Selene glanced over her shoulder, spotting the squirrel, and turned to bolt after it, accidentally kicking the camera over. The last image it caught before the tape cuts out is her climbing out the window to try and catch it.
